Our Story

Building strong foundations since 2007

Founded in 2007 by Trooi Eland, Tender Loving Care ECD has been a cornerstone of early childhood development in Kraaifontein, Cape Town. We believe that every child deserves a safe, nurturing space to learn, play, and grow. Our centre welcomes children from 4 months to 6 years old, providing full-day care that follows the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) with structured routines and age-appropriate educational activities.

More than just a creche, we are a community. With nutritious meals served daily, caring educators who treat every child like family, and a dedicated school readiness programme, we prepare little ones not just for primary school, but for life. Community

Soup Kitchen & Community Project

Our creche runs a community soup kitchen 3 times a week, serving children coming home from school who are not sure of a meal while their parents are at work, plus children who are not attending creche, to ensure they get proper nutrition. The project has run since 2020 with the help of Kidz Discovery and Ladles of Love.
